Beeswax is a pure, natural wax produced by honeybees. Beeswax White is created by melting and filtering the raw wax using physical processes to reduce its scent and color. It serves various functions such as thickening, texturizing, emulsifying, moisturizing, and protecting the skin. It is commonly used in candle making, skincare, haircare, and cosmetics.
The unique behavior and versatility of pure Beeswax come from its chemical composition, which includes around 300 different components like fatty acid esters, fatty alcohols, and free fatty acids. These complex properties allow formulators to create and adjust textures and viscosities for more functional and appealing products, ranging from silky creams to elegant pillar candles.
This 100% natural wax is organic and GMO-free and its colour can range from white to off-white.
Bead size: 4 to 5 mm
Caution: The melting point of this wax is between 62° and 65°C (143.6° to 149°F).
Warning: Never melt beeswax over direct heat; always use a double boiler! Beeswax does not boil, it simply gets hotter until it ignites, burning intensely.
